The announcement comes after a hugely successful nine month run at the London Hippodrome ended on 27 June. Tragically, demolition crews will soon move in to convert the Hippodrome, a building with a fascinating theatrical history, into yet another London casino.
A jaw-dropping showcase of gloriously freakish variety, LA CLIQUE was seen by over 100,000 people and grossed an impressive £2.5 million during its residency at the Hippodrome. Audiences were genuinely mesmerised and critics (myself included) were in awe of what might have been the greatest variety show the West End had ever seen.
The show won the 2008 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and played to packed houses until its very last day at the Hippodrome. Now, for a limited nine week season LA CLIQUE returns to London to play at Camden's Roundhouse.
Promising to be "bigger, better with a previously unseen line up which will include some of London's favourites along with the créme de la créme of twisted cabaret performers from around the world", LA CLIQUE at Christmas will no doubt be brilliant, see you there.
